Luang Phor Kui was born on May 20, 1921, in Phetchabun Province, Thailand. At the age of 12, after the death of his father, LP Kui became a novice monk to honor his father's memory. Following the cremation of his father, his mother requested that he leave the monkhood, but LP Kui chose to remain in ordination. He then traveled to Wat Changpeuk to observe the Buddhist Lent, where he became a disciple of Luang Phor Tob. There, he dedicated himself to learning sacred Buddhist disciplines and supernatural powers under the guidance of LP Tob.
LP Kui became the only disciple of LP Tob to successfully master the art of creating TaKrut, magical yantras, and sacred scripts. He studied under LP Tob for more than six years, developing an exceptional understanding of Buddhist magic and supernatural powers. His dedication and spiritual insight earned him a reputation for his remarkable spiritual abilities.
At the age of 22, LP Kui was officially ordained as a monk at Wat See Mongkol. Two years later, he returned to Wat Changpeuk to continue his studies in Thai, Myanmar, and Khmer magical traditions. He became an expert in Buddhist mindfulness practices and meditation techniques, which helped him cultivate deep concentration and spiritual wisdom.
LP Kui also undertook a monastic journey known as Tudong, traveling to Northeast Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. During this journey, he gathered knowledge, built good karma, and deepened his understanding of the Buddha's teachings.
Today, at the age of 88, LP Kui is revered as one of Thailand's most respected spiritual masters. Despite his advanced age, he retains a sharp memory and clear mind. LP Kui is especially respected by other senior monks, including LP Lamai of Suan Samunprai, who, at 103 years old, holds LP Kui in high regard. LP Kui’s amulets are particularly renowned for their powerful protective and wealth-bringing properties.
