Venerable Luang Phor Kaew was one of the most renowned and revered masters (Gaeijis) of the Old Siamese era, earning the title of the "King of Pidta" due to his exceptional skill in crafting highly powerful and efficacious Phra Pidtas. His expertise in creating these amulets was unmatched, and he was also known for his attainment of high levels of Abinnya (supernatural powers). Among his miraculous feats were his ability to transform leaves into bees, levitate and walk on the shores of Chonburi, and even make himself invisible to the naked eye. Numerous miracles were attributed to his powers, further solidifying his legacy.
 
The Phra Pidtas crafted by Luang Phor Kaew were renowned for their ability to grant wishes and provide powerful protection. Owners and wearers of his Pidtas reported experiencing remarkable results, as these amulets were believed to bring not only spiritual blessings but also physical and mental protection.
 
Luang Phor Kaew was born in 1842 (B.E. 2385) and passed away in 1927 (B.E. 2470) at the age of 85. The majority of his Phra Pidtas were consecrated during his 40s and 50s. His Pidtas became widely known for their potent powers of Maha Amnajj (authority and charisma), Maha Grung Kha Phan (invulnerability), Maha Urd (invincibility), and Klaew Klad (protection from danger). These powers were particularly important as Luang Phor Kaew hailed from Phetchaburi, a rough-and-tumble town in those days, where disputes often led to violence. To protect himself and others, he honed his magical knowledge and skills to enhance these qualities.
