Luang Pu Thuat Sema Coin (1965) – Featuring Luang Pu Tim on the Reverse Issued by Wat Eiam Woranut, Bangkok, this sacred amulet was cast in original blackened copper and sanctified in 1965 under the blessing of the revered Luang Pu Tim of Wat Chang Hai.
At the time, Ajahn Tim had been invited to assist with the restoration of Wat Prasat Boonyawat in Sam Sen, which had been devastated by fire. During his stay at Wat Eiam Woranut, the temple took the opportunity to produce Luang Pu Thuat amulets to help raise funds for the rebuilding efforts.
These amulets were crafted using original molds from Wat Chang Hai and came in various types. They were created alongside the temple’s first edition of Phra Kring Upakeng. Luang Pu Tim personally oversaw the creation process, guiding the mixture of sacred materials and presiding over the consecration ceremony.
The blessing ritual was a grand event, joined by several prominent monks and spiritual masters of the era, including:
