Achan Tim Dhammo Pinto Taro was born on August 21, 1912 (B.E. 2455), the second son of the Prompradu family. He was first ordained as a novice monk at the age of 18 at Wat Na Pradu. Upon reaching the age of 20, he entered the monkhood on June 7, 1933 (B.E. 2476), under the preceptorship of Phra Kru Phiboon Samanawat of Wat Mutchalinthawapi Vihan, also known as Wat Tu Yong, located in the Nong Chik district.
In 1941 (B.E. 2484), Phra Kru Pattarakhon Kowit, the abbot of Wat Na Pradu, appointed Achan Tim to serve at Wat Chang Hai. He was later officially named the chief abbot of the temple.
By 1952 (B.E. 2495), Achan Tim envisioned building a sermon hall to serve as a space for monastic activities and for providing spiritual guidance to the local community. To raise funds for the project, he proposed the idea of creating a commemorative amulet in honor of the revered monk Luang Pu Thuad. He consulted with Phra Kru Dhamma Kit Kosorn (Achan Nong), Chao Khun Phra Rajpanyarangsri, and Khun Anan Kananurak, all of whom agreed with the proposal.
Due to time constraints, a total of 64,000 Luang Pu Thuad commemorative amulets were produced. On Sunday, April 18, 1954 (B.E. 2497), following the consecration ceremony, Achan Tim distributed the first batch of these amulets to the devotees who had supported the sermon hall construction effort.
Achan Tim is recognized as the pioneering creator of the Luang Pu Thuad amulets, which later became among the most venerated in Thai Buddhist culture.
He passed away on November 30, 1969 (B.E. 2512).
