Luang Pu Thuad – Wat Pha Kho / Wat Chang Hai
Luang Pu Thuad (1582–1682) is one of Thailand’s most revered monks, famed for miraculous powers and unmatched protective blessings. Believers credit his image and amulets with saving lives from fatal accidents, shielding wearers from harm, and bringing good fortune. A saying in amulet circles declares: “Whoever wears Luang Pu Thuad will not die in violence.” The earliest and most sought-after amulets were consecrated by LP Tim Dharmataro of Wat Chang Hai, Pattani. Whether old or new, amulets made in his likeness—if worn with sincere faith—are believed to offer the same life-saving protection. Highly prized in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, they remain among the most trusted talismans in Southeast Asia.
